Encuentro 2018 hosted by RI Latino Arts

Providence, RI – Latinos in Heritage Conservation (LHC), Rhode Island Latino Arts (RILA), and the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission (RIHPHC) will present a three-day historic preservation and cultural heritage conference in Providence, RI. Encuentro 2018 will be held on April 26-28, 2018 at the Roger Williams University School of Continuing Studies, Downtown Campus with additional programs elsewhere in Providence and the Blackstone Valley.

Encuentro 2018 will bring together community leaders, arts advocates and preservationists from throughout the country and state around the theme of “Building a More Inclusive Preservation Movement.” Participants will select from one, two, or three days of programs including, panel presentations, plenary addresses, tours, and social gatherings. The full schedule will be available by early March.
