Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island
Nuestras Raíces is an oral history project that aims to bring the community together through storytelling and document collection. To participate, come to a community plática event at this partner site.393 Broad St. Providence, RI 02907 10:00AMPlease bring any of the following:
• Photographs, diaries, family videos, artifacts
• Personal papers (i.e., letters, passports, etc.)
• Business documents (menus, business cards, brochures, posters)
We will scan all photos and paper items and give you copies in a flash drive, take photos of artifacts and return them. If you wish to donate originals, we can make arrangements to store them in our collection.
* You will be asked to sign a release form.
